Principal Attorney
Elizabeth Franklin-Best is a nationally recognized federal criminal defense and appellate attorney with over 20 years of experience in high-stakes post-conviction advocacy. She graduated from the University of Wyoming (JD and M.A. in Philosophy) and is admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court and all U.S. Circuit Courts of Appeals. Elizabeth exclusively represents clients in federal courts and agencies.

Kimberly Zoukis is the Law Firm’s Operations Manager. She has been with Elizabeth Franklin-Best P.C. since 2025 and the firm’s predecessor since 2019. She has over seven years of experience working with Compass Group in various client relations functions. While at Compass Group, she attended the prestigious Manager-in-Training program. Kimberly also holds a Certificate in Business Administration from the University of California at Berkeley. She now manages the Law Firm’s client care needs and other administrative matters.
